Every first Tuesday at 7 PM
We're partnering with Bearded Iris for an open book club on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The vibe is chill. There are no tricky questions or pop quizzes. We believe that books are designed to stimulate conversations between friends.
Here are the books for the next few months:
July 7, 2026: Red Clay by Charles B Fancher is available in the store and at Bookshop.org.
If you didn't buy the book from us, don't worry. If you didn't read the book, don't worry. We'd love for you to come out, grab a Bearded Iris beer, and hang out. Banned Book Club

Every Second Sunday at 1 PM
Join us at Corsair Distillery in Marathon Village for a bold and thought-provoking book club celebrating the power of banned books! We'll be discussing the following:
August 9, 2026: Maus is available in the store and on Bookshop.org.
If you’re a free speech advocate, a literature lover, or just curious about the books they don’t want you to read, this is your space to engage in open discussions and challenge the status quo.
Come for the conversation, stay for the freedom to read.

Not everything needs to be a formal book club. Sometimes the best conversations happen over coffee, without an agenda, a reading list, or the pressure to be “on.”
Most Saturdays, you’ll find us early at a local coffee shop for a low-stakes, come-and-go gathering centered on books, ideas, and community. Talk about what you’re reading. Talk about the world. Bring a sketchbook. Sit quietly if that’s what you need. This is simply a chance to share space with your neighbors.
There’s no required book and no expectation to stay the whole time. Grab a cup, sit for a minute, or hang out longer if the mood strikes. Whether a few people show up or it’s just one quiet morning with coffee, the door is open. Sometimes that’s more than enough.
