Holiday Market at The Golden Slipper
 Saturday, November 29, 11 AM–4 PM
We’re keeping the momentum going Thanksgiving weekend. TSAB will be set up at the first Shop Small Holiday Market, hosted by The Golden Slipper in the Bits & Pieces parking lot. Dani will be on hand with an outstanding selection of her art, books, and gifts. More than 35 local vendors will be on-site, offering an excellent opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting Nashville’s small business community.
This market is also giving back. Two dollars from every purchase in the new collection will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, helping support families across Middle Tennessee during one of the busiest times of the year.
If you’re looking for a thoughtful, local way to spend the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we’ll see you at The Golden Slipper.

Merry Marathon Village
Saturday, December 6, 12–4 PM

Marathon Village is hosting its first Merry Marathon Village celebration, and the entire property is coming alive for the holidays. Live music from local musicians will fill the courtyards, antique cars will be on display, and more than twenty Nashville makers and small businesses will be set up with gifts, art, books, and one-of-a-kind finds.
Taylor Street Art and Books will be open throughout the event. Stop by while you're wandering, pick up a few holiday reads, or grab something for a stocking. It’s a great afternoon to explore the historic home of the first car built in the South and support the local creative community that keeps Marathon Village moving.
Spend the day with us.

Nashville Punk Rock Flea Market
December 6–7 at Eastside Bowl
Since we’re overachievers that weekend, we’re splitting our time between Merry Marathon Village and the Nashville Punk Rock Flea Market at Eastside Bowl. This two-day market brings together more than sixty small businesses, twenty-one bands, and a community that shows up ready to support local art, music, and makers.
The Punk Rock Flea Market is one of the most energetic events of the season. Vendors, artists, and collectors fill the space, live music runs all weekend, and the Early Bird hour on Saturday gives shoppers the first shot at the good stuff before doors open to the public. TSAB will be set up with books, gifts, and a few things we don’t usually take on the road.
The event also partners with Marine Toys for Tots. If you’re able, bring a new unwrapped toy and help make a difference for Nashville families this holiday season.
If you want a holiday market with character, noise, and a crowd that feels like home, we’ll see you at Eastside Bowl on December 6 and 7.

Book Club at Bearded Iris
Every first Tuesday at 7 PM

We're partnering with Bearded Iris Brewery for an open book club on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The vibe is chill. There are no tricky questions or pop quizzes. We believe that books are designed to stimulate conversations between friends.
Here are the books for the next few months:
December 1, 2025: We're having a book swap and general chat about books we loved reading this year.
If you didn't buy the book from us, don't worry. If you didn't read the book, don't worry. We'd love for you to come out, grab a Bearded Iris beer, and hang out.
Banned Book Club
Every Second Sunday at 1 PM
Join us at Corsair Distillery in Marathon Village for a bold and thought-provoking book club celebrating the power of banned books! Each second Sunday at 1 PM, we’ll dive into a different title that has faced censorship in schools and other institutions, exploring the stories, ideas, and controversies that make these books so important. We'll be discussing the following:

December 14, 2025: Lord of the Flies (Graphic Novel) by William Golding
Whether you’re a free speech advocate, a literature lover, or just curious about the books they don’t want you to read, this is your space to engage in open discussions and challenge the status quo.
Come for the conversation, stay for the freedom to read.
